
RETAIL DESIGN
Metrolla metsään pop-up store of sustainable Finnish brands held in Redi shopping center 23.11-23.12.2023.
Studio Viippola contributed to designing and preparing the retail space. As a separate part of the space Metsämood created a forest experience for all senses.
For a short term pop-up it’s important to use available fixtures and props. Cashier desk, podiums, tables, and clothes racks are from Redi’s own storage and Lundia shelves are rented from Helsingin Hyötykaluste. Some of the fixtures were brought in by the participating companies, for example the lamps and chairs are from Parolan Rottinki and the long wooden table from PuuStore.



The main idea was to keep the middle floor visually low and have all high elements by the walls or pillars. Podiums are leading to the forest area in the far left of the space. From cashier desk there is clear view to the whole space. The result is rather calm and simple regardless of the big number of different brands and product types and browsing is made as easy as possible.
The pop-up was organised by Laura Rautkallio-Salminen (Flikka) and Riikka Kastu (Get Wet Experience).
